Finally my podcast! I really had some trouble with this one. Not creating the podcast that was fun and easy. Uploading it was my problem. I couldn't get it on any of the podcast sites. Thankfully Prof. Watson had a suggestion that worked. So here it is:

21st Century Skills

21st Century Skills
Wow, what a great website and so informative!
Unfortunately I live in New York and they do not contribute.
There are so many new skills that need to addressed and implemented into every classroom. This is great that it has been compiled all in one spot, the resources and web links are really useful.

I teach second grade in a Title One School. That means that atleast 90% of the school falls below the poverty level. I have 21, 7 and 8 year olds in my class. I have been teaching for 8 years and have taught the Gifted and Talented Program for 5 of the years. My principal has been really interested in starting a blog in my school but I was so unsure of it that I never got on board. I think it would be a great tool for the students, parents and myself. I would post assignments and be able to stay in touch with parents and connect them to other useful links.

Wow, I think I did it!

So I created my blog page. If that is what I am supposed to call it. Now I have to see what to do next.
Seems easy enough!
